The Santa Barbara County Fire Department has information on its Web page (www.sbcfire.com) on preparing for and protecting your home from wildfires.

The City of Santa Barbara (www.santabarbaraca.gov) also has information on the fire, as well as rebuilding efforts from the Tea Fire and Jesusita Fire.

The International Erosion Control Association (www.ieca.org) is dedicated to solving problems caused by erosion and its byproduct, sediment. IECA’s Western Chapter, which includes California, has its own web page at www.wcieca.org.

Certified Professionals in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESCs) are people who practice erosion and sediment control and who have passed an exam to demonstrate their knowledge of the field. Current CPESCs from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties are listed below. You can find a list of all CPESCs, by state, at www.cpesc.org.
