Denver, Colo. – The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Region One is pleased to announce its new Marketing Manager, Laura Felux.  

Before joining the IECA team, Felux worked in marketing at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa outside Austin, Texas. In addition, she has worked in event management for In Style Weddings and Destinations and in public relations at The CE Group Inc.

“Laura comes to IECA with a Bachelors degree in Public Relations from Texas State University,” said Russ Adsit, FASLA, IECA’s Executive Director. “She has spent the past three years working in the hospitality industry helping with event and hotel promotions. Laura has strong communication and organization skills which fit her role at IECA. Her creative ideas will help promote membership and the association.”

Felux is the new point person for IECA Region One marketing and media relations, and will be work closely with the education and sponsorship teams to enhance membership. Laura maintains an active lifestyle that includes traveling, volunteering, hiking, and snowboarding.
