Fairfield, OH  (December 5, 2012):  FINN Corporation, a world leader in the manufacturing of erosion control and landscape equipment and materials, is proud to announce the election of John Imm, FINN National Sales Manager, as a Director to IAHP, the International Association of Hydroseeding Professionals.  Installation of the new officers and directors is being conducted today.

“I’m honored to have been both nominated and elected to this unique and important industry organization,” says Imm. “It’s become a great resource, and I look forward to working with my fellow directors and officers in increasing the organization’s overall reach and impact.”

For nearly two decades, Imm has been an integral part of the development of the FINN product lines and materials, including HydroSeeders, Bark Blowers, Straw Blowers, TRU-Mulch, and Consumables, along with the promotion of their respective applications.  “As one of the most recognizable and respected people in our industry, John will be a valuable asset to this organization,” says Rob Jelinek, FINN Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  “We look forward to supporting him in this endeavor.”

Formed in 2004, the IAHP works to promote the process of hydroseeding by increasing public awareness and giving hydroseeding contractors and industry experts a place to learn from and network with each other.  IAHP created the Certified Hydroseeding Professional Program, holds educational regional expos, and has the interactive IAHP Forum at www.hydroseeding.org.
